SANTA BARBARA, Calif., November 10, 2015–LogicMonitor, the leading automated end-to-end IT infrastructure monitoring platform, today announced the successful completion of the Service Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type 1 audit. The audit certifies that LogicMonitor’s company wide procedures, policies, and operations meet compliance standards for security, availability, process integrity, and confidentiality as stated by independent auditor, Ernst & Young.
SOC is an internationally recognized auditing standard created by The American Institute of Public Accountants (AICPA). The SOC 2 Type 1 report provides a description of a service organization’s system and the suitability of design and operating effectiveness of the organization’s controls. During a rigorous period of examination, Ernst & Young assessed LogicMonitor’s controls and determined that these controls meet the AICPA’s Trust Services Criteria relevant to security and availability.
“As more and more organizations rely on SaaS products to help perform core business operations, it’s more important than ever that customers have transparency into the policies and procedures behind these organizations,” said Kevin McGibben, CEO of LogicMonitor. “For LogicMonitor, the successful completion of the SOC 2 Type 1 audit reinforces our ongoing commitment to the security and availability of our platform.
