LogicMonitor Recognized in the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Network Performance Monitoring and Diagnostics for the First Time

We’re excited to share that Gartner, Inc. has positioned LogicMonitor in the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Network Performance Monitoring and Diagnostics* (NPMD) for the first time in the quadrant’s history.

Being included in this report is exciting because it validates our capabilities as a network monitoring tool. With LogicMonitor, network monitoring functionality is just a subset of the platform’s overall value: we automate performance monitoring for the entire IT stack, including dynamic services and applications. Not only the network, but servers, storage, virtualization, containers, databases, and more — whether on-prem, in remote data centers, or in public clouds. We’ve intentionally built our platform to go beyond network monitoring and are the only true hybrid/multi-cloud SaaS monitoring tool in the market.

As we deliver on our product roadmap in 2019 and beyond, we’ll continue to keep the needs of customers in mind by providing more workflow and technology integrations, topology mapping and advancements in key areas like AIOps. According to Gartner, “By 2024, 60% of NPMD buyers will require improved AIOps capabilities, up from 30% in 2018.”** We’ll be demonstrating AIOps features and capabilities for DevOps use at our first annual user conference, Level Up, in Austin, TX, in June 2019.

In addition to the Magic Quadrant, Gartner also introduced its ‘Critical Capabilities for Network Performance Monitoring and Diagnostics’ report, which takes a closer look at the different tools evaluated in the quadrant.

We’re seeing many customers use our tool in DevOps environments to help them innovate new products and services and get to market and revenue more quickly, and we expect this trend to continue. We’re excited to be included in Gartner reports evaluating solutions for NPMD since Gartner is a trusted advisor to many companies worldwide. We look forward to further defining the performance monitoring space beyond the network and into all areas of the hybrid IT environment.
