EA Collector 37.100

Collector Migration to Apache Groovy 4
LogicMonitor Collector has migrated to Apache Groovy 4 following the end-of-support for Apache Groovy 2.4. Collector will now use the default Groovy 4 for monitoring and data collection.
Improvements to SNMP Trap as Logs
LogicMonitor has made the following improvements to SNMP trap as logs:
- Improved the SNMP trap translation.
- Translated OIDs now have the source MIB name prefixed.
- The description of the trap OID is ingested to provide additional context about the trap. If you do not want the description in the log message, in the agent.conf setting, set the value of

Setting Non-admin User as the Default User for Windows Collector Installation
While installing collector, you can now select Create a new default local non-admin account to add a non-admin user as the default user for Windows collector.
Collector Debug Commands Security Update
To make collector debug commands more secure, LogicMonitor has now removed the following debug commands.
!taskkil
—To prohibit misuse of this command to end (that is, to kill) essential tasks, LogicMonitor has removed the!taskkil
command. Now you cannot end tasks on the hosted machine where the collector is installed.!opssl
—To ensure secure communication, now you cannot turn off thetls
andssl
protocol that handled the communication between the collector and the device.
Improvements to SB Proxy
To improve WinRM performance, LogicMonitor has now improved handling of different error codes, connections, and sessions in SBProxy.
Updates to MongoDB Data Access
In the Collector Debug window, you are now restricted to only retrieve the MongoDB data with your read-only permission. In addition, you are not allowed to modify the MongoDB.
