Cluster Alerts Management

Once a cluster alert is configured and saved, it displays in a table on the Cluster Alerts Tuning tab. From this table, you can edit the cluster alert’s configurations, enable or disable individual alerting in the cluster alert’s underlying datapoints, and enable or disable the cluster alert.

Requirements for Managing Cluster Alerts

You need to have access to a resource group with existing resources.

Editing Cluster Alerts

  1. In LogicMonitor, navigate to Resources Tree, and select the resource group you want.
  2. From the resource group’s detail view, select the Cluster Alert Tuning tab.
  3. Select the cluster alert you want to manage. The Cluster Alert Tuning Configs panel is displayed.

  4. From the Threshold tab, edit the cluster alert configurations, and select Save. For more information on cluster alert configuration, see Adding Cluster Alerts.
  5. Select Save save .
  6. If you want to delete the cluster alert, select Delete delete.

Enabling or Disabling Cluster Alerts

  1. In LogicMonitor, navigate to Resources Tree, and select the resource group you want.
  2. From the resource group’s detail view, select the Cluster Alert Tuning tab, and select the alert you want.
  3. To enable or disable a cluster alert, from the Cluster Alert column, select the icon for Enable Cluster Alert Generation or Disable Cluster Alert Generation .
  4. Alternatively, to enable or disable multiple cluster alerts together, select the checkbox associated with the cluster alerts.
  5. From the Actions menu, select Enable Cluster Alert Generation or Disable Cluster Alert Generation.

  6. From the confirmation dialog box, select the appropriate option depending on your earlier selection.

  1. In LogicMonitor, navigate to Resources Tree, and select the resource group for adding the cluster alert.
  2. From the Resource group’s detail view, select the Cluster Alerts Tuning tab, and then select the alert you want.
  3. From the Individual Alerts column of the cluster alert, select the icon for Enable Individual Alert Generation or Disable Individual Alert Generation.
  4. Alternatively, to enable or disable multiple individual datapoint alerts together, select the checkbox associated with the cluster alerts.
  5. From the Actions menu, select Enable Individual Alert Generation or Disable Individual Alert Generation .
