You can assign any newly discovered resources to a specific resource group. Alternatively, if you do not wish to add these resources to a group, they are assigned to the Unmonitored Netscan Devices group under the Resources tab.

You can select the required type of discovery method for NetScans, some configurations are unique per method type. These unique configurations are discussed in detail in the following sections:
